Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RackStack Pro ("the Service"), operated by RackStack Pro ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

RackStack Pro is a cloud-based platform for woodshop inventory management, project tracking, material takeoff, and shop floor organization. Features include inventory tracking, storage location mapping, project management, and team collaboration tools. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service without written permission
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or harmful to others

4. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all inventory data, project information, and other content you enter into RackStack Pro. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your data, sell it, or use it for purposes other than operating and improving the platform. Upon account deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Teams and Organizations

The person who creates an organization account ("Owner") is responsible for all activity and content within that organization, including activity by invited members.

If an organization's subscription lapses or is terminated, all members of that organization may lose access to the Service and associated data. Owners are responsible for ensuring members are aware of access policies.

6. Intellectual Property

The RackStack Pro name, logo, software, design, and all related materials are our intellectual property or are licensed to us. Nothing in these Terms grants you the right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on our software or platform.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. You use the Service at your own risk. We strongly encourage you to maintain your own backups of critical inventory data.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RACKSTACK PRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, your access to the Service will end at the close of your current billing period.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to other users, the Service, or third parties.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
